In October, the 31-year-old Adams was acquired by the Jets from the Las Vegas Aces to bolster the team's sputtering offense. Adams and Rodgers were a dynamic duo during their time with the Green Bay Packers. They, however, have to regain that solid connection with the Jets.

Davante Adams was not particularly surprised that Joe Douglas got sent packing by the Jets. The Jets wideout appeared on FanDuel TV’s “Up & Adams” and was asked about his reaction to the general manager getting sacked.

Which wasn't supposed to happen. The Adams trade was expected to be the catalyst to spur New York—and, more importantly, quarterback Aaron Rodgers—to more inspired levels of play. Instead the Jets continued on their death spiral, and after a narrow loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday hold a 3-8 record with six games to play.

The Jets are struggling this season, entering Week 12 with a 3-8 record, but WR Davante Adams has no regrets about being traded to the team.

It's a tough week to be anyone on the New York Jets, really, but it's a particularly tough week to be general manager Joe Douglas, who was recently let go amid the team's 3-8 start, and Aaron Rodgers, who reports now suggest owner Woody Johnson wanted benched just four games into the year.
