(CBS DETROIT) - Interim Police Chief Todd Bettison announced on Wednesday that an officer who responded to a block party in June has been placed on "no-gun status" after an investigation determined she wounded two bystanders in the process.

Police said new ballistic evidence confirmed the officer shot the person with a handgun and two women -- a 20-year-old and a 23-year-old.
