Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader on Sunday claimed that Devendra Fadnavis’ name has been finalised for Maharashtra Chief Minister’s post, despite growing suspense.

Senior BJP leader and former Maharashtra minister Sudhir Mungantiwar stated here on Monday that Devendra Fadnavis would be the Maharashtra chief minister.

"The name of Devendra Fadnavis has been finalised as the new chief minister of Maharashtra. The meeting to elect the new BJP legislature party meeting will be held on either December 2 or 3," a senior BJP leader told PTI.
